This Regatta is the UK's premier classic yacht event. There is little to compare with the sight of these magnificent craft in full cry and at close quarters as they cross the start line.
This year we see the return of the Big Boats for the first time since the America's Cup Jubilee.

British Classic Yacht Club Regatta
July 19th -26th
Berth: 20 points per day, 140 whole event
Bareboat: Caressa 500 points
Be warned, for the classic yacht enthusiast accustomed to scouring marinas for the odd wooden boat to ogle, this regatta can prove to be too much. West Cowes marina is cleared of plastic for the event. In their place are 50 of the best classic yachts in the UK which, as a competitor, you are encouraged to go aboard in order to decide which is your favourite. Heaven!
The racing is a mixture of long and short course serious and not so serious. Monday sees a Classic Round the Island, Tuesday the Ladies Race. The rest of the week Solent Racing and on the final day a Parade of Sail.
Throughout the week there are social events from a reception at the Royal yacht Squadron to a fancy dress party and barbeque. In addition there are numerous impromptu do's in the marina. All are friendly and inclusive since there is no typical classic owner. All are united by the love of the craft and the common aim of keeping them on the water.
We will be taking Caressa which is available as a bareboat or on a berth basis You can book the whole week or just one day
