Nigth Wind off Shoreham

Band 2
Berth 2
Type: 28' Water Bug?
Designer: Unknown
Builder: Uphams, Brixham
Year: 1939

We are still researching Night Wind's provenance. Her lines and handling seem to point to the hand of
Dr. Thomas Harrisson Butler. Built at Uphams yard in 1939 it is thought she became the protoype for the Water Bug credited to Kim Holman who took over Uphams after the War. Whatever her story we are very happy we have her, she is a pure joy to sail.

Not linked in any way to Classic Sailing Club but we like what they are doing so thought we'd give them a plug.

They have lovely boats at good prices in the most stunning sailing waters.
