Like the Inner Hebrides without the rain and the midges, The British Virgin Islands must rank among the best cruising areas in the world. Each island has a mixture of secluded anchorages, often with a small restaurant or bar ashore, smart hotels and fabulous dive sites and beaches.

  • Go to the world famous Foxy’s located right on the beach for a drink.
  • Not only an island landmark, Foxy himself is a world-renowned entertainer who keeps his guests enthralled with his musical folklore.
  • Snorkeling around the coral reef

  • Head over to White Bay and mix your own drinks at Ivan's Stress Free Bar.

Norman Island

Norman Island is South of Tortola.  It helps form the southern perimeter of the Sir Francis Drake Channel.  It is often called “Treasure Island” by the locals because of stories of lost pirate treasures.  One unique feature of Norman Island is “The Caves” which are rumored to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson’s

Things to Do

  • Visit the famous Caves rumored to inspire the novel Treasure Island
  • Dive at the shipwreck of the Rhone, voted best shipwreck in the Caribbean by Skindiver Magazine.
  • Dine as you watch the sun set at Pirates Restaurant on the beach.
  • Drink at the “Willie T,” the infamous floating bar and restaurant where revelers stay up late!

Peter Island

With dozens of beaches and coves to choose from it is easy let all of your worries sail away in the warm Caribbean air.  The most famous beach on Peter Island is Deadman’s Bay, part of the Peter Island Resort complex. It’s a perfect day anchorage at the most southeastern end of the island.

Cooper Island

The principal anchorage on Cooper Island is Manchioneel Bay, located on the Northwest shore.  There are many moorings you can use for a fee. There is a nice sandy beach, home to Cooper Island Beach Club with views of many of the islands to the west.

Virgin Gorda, The Baths

Swim or snorkel at The Baths, a unique rock formation with a myriad of secret pools and caves where you can take the cool walk through the tunnels to Devil's Bay where surf is sometimes ideal for body boarding or surfing.

At the Northeastern end is the Bitter End. Set well into the protected North Sound, it's like a little village at the end of the world.

From mid 17th January to 22nd March you have the choice of Infanta or Pazienza to explore the British Virgin Islands.

This is the most stylish way for a couple to explore these beautiful Islands.

If you have a larger party why not charter both. Enquire for a special deal.

When you arrive you can discuss with your skipper exactly where you want to go and at what pace.

The yachts will be based in Tortolla, the perfect base for a week or fortnight's cruise of the neighbouring islands.

Charters for two guests are available between 17th January and 22nd March for either 7 or 14 days starting on a Saturday.

On arrival you can plan your itinerary with the skipper spending each day covering as little or as much ground as you like.

Wildlife
Snorkeling will present you with a rainbow of sealife to observe. It's not unusual to see dolphins and turtles

Food
Breakfast and lucnch are provided on board and yopu can choose to have dinner on board or go ashore to one of the many restaurants.
Good fresh ingredients are available on the islands, there are even floating shops doing the rounds in some anchorages.
Ashore you can dine out in cheap simple beach cafe's or if you prefer there are smart, stylish resort hotels which provide sophisticated, excellent cuisine.
